Don Mortensen is an Arizona native and has been a licensed Realtor for the past 7 years. He has brokerage and consulting experience in residential, retail, office, and industrial real estate. In 2006 and 2007, he was the top sales broker for 1st USA Commercial Properties. He has a great understanding of the real estate market and knows how to negotiate a deal. Don understands the importance of constant education and is up to date with the latest real estate research and technology. He is a CCIM Candidate, a member of Urban Land Institute, and a member of the Phoenix College Real Estate Advisory Board. He earned his bachelors degree in Business Management and Masters of Real Estate Development from Arizona State University.

Bryan Watkins brings a perspective of Corporate Finance background to the firm. He earned his Accounting and MBA degrees from Brigham Young University and worked with Hewlett Packard, National Semiconductor and two high-tech start-up firms in Silicon Valley. Responsibilities included strategic business planning and forecasting, budgeting and monthly financial analysis and reviews. Other relevant job experience includes six years as corporate and Santa Clara site facilities Controller for National Semiconductor at company headquarters. There he was involved with environmental groundwater cleanup issues, major building construction and demolition, county tax negotiations, and cost segregation. Bryan is a licensed real estate agent in Arizona and is an investor in commercial and residential real estate. In addition, his direct experience includes property abandonments, entitlements, property value estimates, as well as highest and best use analysis.

Marshall Witzig has worked on over 300 private, commercial, municipal and educational projects in the pre-construction and construction phases of development. His efforts were instrumental in positioning developers into a partnering role on their projects over the past four years. Marshall will help potential investors to capitalize on the momentum of the light rail success and integrate himself into the initial development phases of your project. Marshall can bring value to his clients for whom he is employed and the projects that he brings to the community due to his knowledge of local development and construction costs and time frames. Marshall aspires to continue to help grow the communities in which we live by collaborating, constructing and contributing to the sustainable development of new projects in Arizona.

Richard Lorenzen is dedicated and determined to help your real estate project succeed. He holds a bachelors degree from the Del E. Webb School of Construction at ASU and is graduate of ASU’s Master of Real Estate Development program. His experience within real estate development includes three years at a structural engineering firm producing structural drawings for homes. He was also Project Coordinator for Carlson Homes based out of Scottsdale, Arizona where he acted as liaison between owners, designers, engineers, superintendents, and municipalities assisting in the delivery of more than fifteen custom homes a year to proud home owners. Richard is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Michael VanBuskirk brings valuable experience from both the public and private sides of the real estate field. Having worked as an Entitlement Project Manager for a small private developer in the Phoenix area and as both a Project Manager and Environmental Planner for the City of San Diego, Michael has gained the skills and knowledge that are necessary to navigate the often challenging and complex regulations impacting today’s development projects. As a recent graduate of the Master of Real Estate Development program at Arizona State, Michael has a well versed understanding of the development process. This combination of skills and experience will allow him to fill a critical role in the successful development of your project.
